QA Engineer (Web + Mobile)

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer to own system-level quality across our web and mobile platforms. You will define and execute testing strategy, build automation frameworks, and work directly with engineers to ensure reliability in mission-critical environments where failure is not an option. You will join a small, senior team delivering classified software systems for defence end-users.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years in QA engineering on production systems
• Web test automation experience with Playwright or Cypress
• Mobile test automation experience with Appium or Detox (iOS and Android)
• API testing proficiency (REST, GraphQL) — tools such as Postman, REST-assured, or equivalent
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how testing integrates into the delivery process
• Solid grounding in test design techniques — equivalence partitioning, boundary analysis, risk-based testing
• Experience creating and maintaining test documentation (test plans, test cases, bug reports)
• Comfortable working under NDA and security clearance conditions
• Fluent Ukrainian or English

Nice to Have

• Performance testing experience (k6, Artillery, Gatling)
• Security testing basics — OWASP familiarity, penetration test coordination
• Experience in safety-critical, defence, or government software
• Familiarity with observability tooling (logging, tracing, metrics)
• ISTQB certification or equivalent formal QA training
